Sweet Ryan

This had to be the quickest and easiest photo shoot I have ever done. This little guy was SO good, sat perfectly still and did whatever I told him to do. He even thought I was funny, so there you go. :) Ryan's Momma, Carol, and I have been friends since we were kids, and I used to hang out at her house with her awesome Mom. So I included Mom and Grandma in our shoot as well. Enjoy! :)

Talk about 5 BEAUTIFUL kids! I have known this Momma since we were kids running around church CAMP every year, and it was so great getting to reconnect with her and meet her fabulous family. Moms of 5 unite!! :)

Blessings and hot, fresh Babies!

Amanda is biologically my niece, but I helped raise her as a baby/toddler and got custody of her when she was 14. SO , I call her my daughter, and my kids call her their sister-cousin. :) Amanda got married and just gave birth this morning to her second daughter. I claim her kids as my grandbabies, I hope you understand. :)
Here is Delilah, born at 3:23 July 3 weighing exactly 7 pounds.

Meek Family

I was asked by an old classmate {FORMER, not OLD!} to do a family photo shoot, to include her Grandpa, while I'm in Ohio on vacation. And I was happy to do it. :) We had a gorgeous day at a fabulous location. Her Mom and Aunt joined us as well. Her 3 boys were wonderful to work with and SO handsome!! Enjoy!

Going home...

Returning to your childhood home can have some serious mixed emotions. For me, it's a good thing. :) I have brought the kids back to Ohio for a month, to re-connect with their cousins, and wait for our niece to give birth in the next few weeks. We went down to the old creek where I grew up to do some fishing. That lasted about 3 minutes, and the kids just jumped in and swam for the next hour. Then my nephew had a baseball game last night. So here's a peek into our first day 'back home' in Ohio.

Heila

Every once in a while I get the opportunity to photograph Beauty and miracles all at once. That's exactly how I felt with Heila and Mike, soon-to-be first time parents. Girl, pregnancy looks amazing on you!! You inspired me to think outside the box, and you never looked at me side-ways with some of my kooky ideas. :) Enjoy...
